Greetings Fellow Questers! My journey began about 5 years ago. I found myself in a life that seemed inconceivable to me. I was in the worst relationship I have ever experienced. I had gotten myself hooked and trapped with a narcissist. It was emotional abuse that escalated into a very mild form of physical abuse. One incident actually. I was not physically hurt, however, I knew it took every ounce of what little control he had left not to seriously hurt me. I knew next time I would not be so fortunate. I took action. Charges were laid and he was out of the house. The house was in my name. He renovated it and I pretty much paid for everything. Two years prior to this incident I had began CrossFit. I required the physical stamina, physical strength and mental strength to execute my departure from this toxic being. It required a great deal of planning to exit such a volatile situation with only a few bruises rather than broken. The renovation took me into a financial nightmare. I did have a very steady guest list at a upscale salon in town. My chair was continually occupied. Because of this, my financial situation at the bank allowed me easily to the sell the house and purchase a 2 bedroom condo. I still have a mortgage but my monthly expenses became sooo manageable. In that same year, my papa bear passed away, then my momma bear passed 2 months later and I changed salons after 10 years. Boy, what a massive difference a year and a half can make eh. During the first lockdown in March, I decided to use the time wisely and start investing in me. ME instead of putting my trust in another who was going to fix or save me. Save yourselves ladies and gentlemen because that is your best strategy. My first course was with Ken Honda. I made money but some how I couldn’t manage it or make it work for me. The course completely changed my EQ(Emotional Quota) with money. Ken’s gentle soothing approach allowed me to heal my money wounds and find forgiveness...with others and most importantly myself. Dr. Scot Wells had amazing exercises to compliment the program. Both gentleman brought such acceptance. So many years of me not feeling worthy of receiving money or deserving of financial wealth. Well all that has changed. Everyday in my gratitude journal my first line ends with ...Arigato, Arigato Arigato. It has transcended to all areas of my life. I presently have no credit card or lines of credit debt. My car is paid off and I have investments that are building nicely. My only debt is my mortgage. I have learned to manage money with a healthy attitude and the relationship between money and myself is flourishing. I have since become a member of Mindvalley. The number of courses I am interested in pursuing make it a sound investment for myself. I want a full balanced life and Mindvalley has given me the tools to assist in achieving this goal. I love that Mindvalley cover all the aspects of a healthy existence and I am excited at continually striving to be the best version of myself and giving that best back to the community and the people around me.
