My father has cancer and is undergoing treatment. It has been a difficult time for us, but I am very happy to see how we have come together as a family and we are all being fully supportive.
I live far away from my parents and brothers. I decided to organize a family 6 phase mediation on zoom. We all got together on zoom and I lead the meditation. I think it was the first time my dad ever meditated, he is 80 years old. I went through all the 6 phases and adapted it to the situation.
It was powerful and one of the most intimate moments we have had as a family. We all opened up after the meditation. We all cried. My dad revealed feelings of guilt which we helped him through. I had a call with him that afternoon and he told me he felt every word inside his heart during the mediation.
Thanks for teaching us this powerful tool. I will continue to use some of the tools we learned in this Certification to help my father through this tough moment.
