Before this program I was coaching student athletes in my Basketball Academy USNBA.org. I have a storied history of coaching basketball. I have been fortunate to have learned from some of the best leaders in the sport. From my experiences, I developed a program that invites young aspiring leaders to define their impact both on and off the court, hold themselves accountable and influence the members on their teams and in the organizations they represent.
When I came to this course I was not looking for content, although I did learn and grow in this respect! I was seeking structure. What has occurred in the 12 weeks of learning and applying is nothing short of unbelievable. I wound up coaching a group of athletes who came over from Northern Europe, in a tournament in Atlantic City in May. That experience led to a trip to Sweden for the U18 Nordic Championships. That led to an extended stay and trip to Finland for the U16 Nordic Championships. That collective experience has evolved into being named the Head Coach of a women's professional basketball team in the SBL. (Swedish Basketball League)
I am presently packing my life in the states to arrive in Göteborg, Sweden, August 15th to begin my contract. What this course gave me was the confidence to know that what I provide is valued on a much grander scale than I was inviting. It has provided me with a structure that frankly caused me to get stuck in staying small and local. A whole new world has literally opened up for me and countless others. For this I thank you. I do believe the program I have developed could be impactful in your organization.
While you aim for adults, I focus on kids and young adults.
