I have been into analytics & product leadership roles in new and emerging businesses and responsible for driving innovation and building cutting-edge solutions. This has required me to work with the smartest of leadership and talent. One key thing I had always required to do in my job is to coach and mentor people to reach and exceed their potential and I had been looking for books and seminars to help me build this skill. As I was researching on my quest to be better, I was reading a lot of First Principle Thinking. This search led me to the discovery of the CBC program and masterclass by Ajit where he talked about the concept and how it can be used for coaching. CBC introduced me to the world of curated content needed for being a coach and also practiced this with a set of wonderful coaches around the world.
The modern method of bite size learning with use of video, reading material and coaching practice labs really helped me grasp the concept in an easy manner. While coaching is a practice to have the client self discover the answers, there is a gap where clients need solutions.
The first principle coaching technique and use of coaching and consulting together was my aha moment to put into practice. CBC has enabled me with key skills to be able to be a good coach not only for my team but also as a professional coach and consultant too. T
