You know, it's funny... it's hard to believe so much growth can come in so few months. CBC was released at a time in my life where I was going through an enormous transition. I had left my last job on very rocky terms and was in a deeply struggling place, financially and emotionally. I had been with my last job for 2 years when the culture broke down and became toxic, and many friends I had made there -whom I relied on for support, had gone separate ways or for one reason or another left my life, as I had left their's.
At the time, I was in therapy, had no job and little support networks or friends outside of immediate family. When CBC landed in my email inbox it was an incredible synchronicity as I had been talking with my family about a change of career and how I really wanted to serve on a deeper level. When I looked through the program breakdown, it awakened something in me. I realised how many New Age/Spiritual companies and communities suffer from ego-driven leadership and poor culture (a la' instagram gurus & "spiritual" influencers), having experienced it myself, and it was in that moment that I realised I wanted to work with those groups and people to heal that collective wound.
I told myself that if I was going to serve to my highest potential, I had to take accountability for how I had participated in these cultures in the past, but that my experience should be reframed into a source of inspiration and teaching for myself rather than something to wallow in. I remember telling my family that I had a good feeling about CBC, but couldn't pin point why. I waited until the night before to muster up the courage to draw from savings and invest. It was a huge risk. But it paid off in ways I couldn't have ever imagined.
Fast forward a few months and -using the resources in this program and other Mindvalley ones, I had founded a new start-up and met some incredible new people who have become constructive and powerful friendships. For the first time in my life I flew out to Estonia for the Supercoach Event funded ENTIRELY by my own profit from my new company. It's hard to really put into words how powerful the whole experience has been, but the Coaching Modules transformed my relationship with myself and gave me a profound sense of self-awareness that allowed me to establish new routines, better boundaries and healthy expectations for myself. In doing so, it transformed my relationship with others.
Now we're at the end of the program and my company is doing well, providing me an opportunity to teach & inspire others, and I can add personal & business coaching to my repertoire. The funny part is that I was never interested in business. But after going through CBC & seeing how Ajit and his team run their work, I couldn't be more excited to get out there and dismantle the old structures of leadership, strategy and culture and make way for a more empowered generation of leaders, entrepreneurs & anti-fragile teams.
