Before coming to Mindvalley and CBC I was searching, but not sure for what. In the past year, I started down a path that I only dabbled with throughout my life. This path led me to understand and excepting the spirit, I carried with me and never really knew. Professionally I have been a nurse for over 25 years. My work as a nurse started out accidentally when I fell in love with helping and caring for others. I suspect this attachment occurred since I didn't understand how to care for and love myself. Over the years, both as a bedside and administrative nurse, I noticed there has been a shift in the system and something had changed.
For many years I played with the idea of consulting, but never really knew how to start, where to start, or when to start. My recent journey opened me up to what was missing in my life and ultimately healthcare... spirit and a sense of oneness. In western medicine we tend to treat the body, opening up to treating the brain, but the spirit is still considered to woohoo. Humans need a holistic approach to body, mind, AND spirit. Like any system, if you treat only one section but do not keep top of mind the parts of the system and how they interact, the system will function but not effectively or efficiently. Humans in essence are breathing systems made up of many parts. One of these parts is very much ignored... the spirit.
How do you move something forward that others are afraid to even suggest has a big role in how we function, how we connect to each other, and is as essential as air, water, and food? I knew the spirit wasn't just being ignored, it had been forgotten and folks, just like, me need to find it and ignite it again. When one heals themselves, one can then heal others. And that became my mission: To heal others so they can then heal those they treat.
When I saw the opportunity for CBC that brought the business side of consulting and the spirit side of oneness, I knew immediately that was for me. CBC provided the solution I was looking for. To train me how to train others to be the best version of themselves and reintroduce them to their spiritual selves. The knowledge and community I have been blessed with over the past 16 weeks have literally changed my life and the lens I use to see my reality. When I realized just recently that I had brought into my reality the life I wanted, I could not have felt more humble and blessed.
So thank you Mindvalley and CBC for giving me a gift I not only can share but literally change the world!
