Before taking CBC… I was at a huge crossroads in my life. After 30+ years in sales, I lived through my 7th redundancy just as Covid struck, then tried launching a business in Europe for a US company which didn’t work out. I was in despair and felt like my useful professional life was over at age 61. And yet I still had a desire in me to make an impact & help people (yet to be defined).
In 2022, I decided to resume doing TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language – I’ve been living in France for 21 years). I found a few private clients, but was struggling to create a programme that I thought would impress businesses enough to hire me to train their sales teams to master their international sales communication.
The reason I enrolled in CBC is because it seemed the universe was speaking to me at the right time. I was inspired by the course content (explained in the video & webinar) and felt this was going to give me the tools & coaching I needed to finally move forwards with my project… and even go beyond just simply language coaching for businesses, by helping them with marketing & systems.
Biggest changes in my life I’ve noticed…is I have this renewed confidence and self-belief that I can be useful & finally make an impact on the world, even if I start out small. Friends and people around me have noticed a positive change in me too, which pleases and reassures me that I made the right choice… and the programme has worked !
Now I am taking action on planning my new coaching business with confidence and conviction that I can be of service to my people and make a living, while enjoying myself.
My top 3 takeaways/insights are : 1) we don’t need to know every tiny detail of a business, we are there to guide them through a process & ask questions they don’t know to ask themselves, to help change their perspective & find solutions; 2) mindset is crucial & often the starting point, so business owners & leaders can move forwards with the right foundation; 3) the practice coaching labs are invaluable, as they push you to start coaching from the off, all in a safe & supportive environment, with each week’s lesson. This builds your confidence & can inspire insight from your colleagues.
So I highly recommend the CBC programme because it will teach you the methods and core competencies that Ajit himself has developed to become the highly successful coach that he is. The community is incredible, full of support and interaction with people on the same journey as you. And you need to get to the SuperCoach Summit, as this is where your self-belief will explode !
Last, but certainly not least, the coaches/mentors that run the coaching labs are amazing, skilled, compassionate, experienced & come from a place of love, as they want us to break through as much as we do. Push yourself to take the plunge !
