Before starting the programme I had just completed 10 years of being a senior communications consultant and 5 years of running my own communications agency specialised in sustainable development and human rights projects around the world. Although I love what I am doing, I started the year with the feeling "What's next?" and didn't have a clue in which direction I could develop further professionally.
I have been a member of Mindvalley for more than four years now and have taken many of the quests as part of my ongoing training and one day I saw a video on Instagram that promoted the business certification through a webinar. During the zoom call, I knew straight away that this is what I had been looking for! It just felt like the natural evolution of what I was doing and a great way of sharing all my knowledge with more people and institutions. My specialisation is that I work with a lot of international organisations (UN, EU, Council of Europe...) and realised that there is a great need for coaching in these institutions. Ideally, communications and business/organisational strategies should be aligned, however, unfortunately, often this is not the case at all. At the same time, while I was taking the programme I was approached by several women in my network that seek international career coaching and I have just signed my first clients in this field before even finishing the certificate! The fact that I am also a mum of four living in a patchwork family who is able to thrive in her job was probably an added value in all of this and I suddenly realised that I had found my niche to start with! So I am really excited to continue this coaching and learning journey!
