"Keith Ferazzi's Mastering Authentic Networking really opened up my eyes that networking is about making deep connections"

I do not like to socialize and was completely awkward at networking previously. I would usually just do it because I have to (part of work) and I would be completely focused on giving out name cards and telling others about my company/project. Keith Ferazzi's Mastering Authentic Networking really opened up my eyes that networking is about making deep connections with the people, networking is about caring about what matters to the other person and how I can help contribute to them. I really resonate with this, but yet, I don't know why it never dawns on me to do this in the past. He breaks down to us clearly step by step on what to do in different situations, and he gave examples of his own personal stories on how he achieved those. And yet, all of this networking we do are based on our life's mission, or what Keith calls, our MTP (Massive Transformative Purpose)
