My Journey Through the Manifestation Mastery Course:
Before this course, I found myself at a pivotal moment, both in my life and in my business. Rugged Thread, my outdoor textile repair company, was growing, but I felt uncertain about its future and my role as its leader. Could I really lead a movement in the outdoor industry? Could I balance the pressures of scaling a business with my personal growth? And, most importantly, where was my exit strategy?
I was seeking personal transformation, not just business advice. The course gave me powerful tools to identify and resolve the patterns that were blocking, stopping, or slowing me down. Recognizing these shifts gave me the discipline to do the necessary work. This clarity allowed me to manifest a bigger vision for myself and the outdoor industry, aligning my leadership with my deeper purpose. As a result, I’ve attracted more opportunities to further our mission of turning waste into a thriving repair economy.
Since completing the course, I’ve transitioned more fully into the CEO role, stepping away from sewing and daily operations as my team has grown. This shift has allowed me to see the bigger picture and focus on vision and planning while facing challenges with clarity and calm—something my team has noticed. This new perspective has also given me the space to focus on growth strategies and sustainability initiatives that will carry Rugged Thread into the future. I now have a clear exit strategy, refining operations so the business runs without my direct involvement. By documenting processes, empowering my team, and aligning our financial goals with my target of $1.5 million after taxes by the time I exit, I’m ensuring that Rugged Thread’s mission of sustainability continues to thrive.
My leadership has also shifted. We now focus not just on the environmental impact of repair work but also on a broader culture of stewardship—caring for the environment and our community. We’ve launched programs to educate customers about the fine art of outdoor gear repair, which, believe me, is way harder than it looks. And, in the spirit of collaboration, we’re working with our brand partners to shift repair over replacement and promote gear stewardship across the entire industry.
This course didn’t just help me clarify my personal growth—it aligned my business goals with the deeper purpose I’ve always envisioned for Rugged Thread. It helped me develop a concrete plan for transitioning out of leadership while making sure the company stays true to its mission. I’ve learned that manifesting isn’t about forcing things to happen (despite what my to-do list and mentors might suggest). It’s about aligning with your purpose and allowing the right opportunities to come. I’ve also realized that personal and business growth are intertwined, and I’ve come to trust in my own wisdom to guide me through challenges.
The most noticeable change has been how I handle uncertainty. I now approach challenges with greater trust in the process. It’s improved my well-being, my leadership, and most importantly, my ability to laugh at myself when things don’t go as planned (which, let’s be honest, happens a lot). I’m excited about the future of Rugged Thread and look forward to seeing how the company evolves as I prepare to step back and pass the torch to the next generation of leaders, knowing that the foundation we’ve built will drive meaningful change in the industry for years to come.
