Seven months ago, I jumped.
After 25+ years in finance, I left security behind to launch LoveJoyBliss, my manifestation coaching business. I had spent a year working with my own coach, become certified as a well-being coach with Chopra, and discovered the transformative power of the Co-active Coaching modality. I knew I had value to bring to the world, especially to executives who needed this work. The choice felt easy—until it didn’t.
The free fall came fast. Watching my bank account drain, fielding questions from family about why I’d left such security, I felt everything strip away. The darkness wrapped around me like a cocoon, liquefying everything I thought I knew about myself.
The Mindvalley community became a light in the dark sky. The community and sessions in Manifesting Mastery, Social Media Mastery, and AI Mastery held space for me to face my deepest limiting belief: the story I inherited from my Roman Catholic upbringing that spiritual people can’t be abundant. As both a scientist and a finance professional turned spiritual coach, I had to rewrite decades of conditioning that told me I couldn’t have value in both worlds.
But here’s what I know now: everything went so right.
My company has evolved into app development—I’m creating “Dinner First,” a romance app with integrated coaching to address the epidemic of loneliness I see in the world. I’ve been awarded seed money. My house sold within 30 days. I’m returning to California to live by the ocean again with my three fur babies.
Most profoundly, I’ve discovered what true freedom means: it comes with responsibility, and I’m saying YES to that responsibility. I’m saying yes to becoming a spiritual master, a world-renowned coach and author, and the owner of a multimillion-dollar company.
To my seven-months-ago self, I would whisper: You’re going to have this beautiful darkness that wraps you in a cocoon. You will liquefy like a caterpillar. And you will unfurl like a gorgeous butterfly dragon.
I’m exhilarated. I’m free. And I’m just beginning to fly.
