I just moved to Portland to be closer to my daughter and family. The reason I moved was that my husband of 48 years died this year in June. I am glad where I live now I have a great loving contact with my family who are younger. My grandson is 8 years old and he is a lot of fun. My adjusting process is still continuing and after going through some depression, I realized it was time for me to find a special project that would help me in creating more community.
Right now my social network is quite small --- some family here and some friends and family in in the US as well as Europe. In the past I always attended yoga classes and later went to circuit gym classes at a retirement center in Seattle. It was easy and wonderful to make new friends. Now with the virus situation gyms and yoga classes are fortunately still closed. But now I feel very fortunate to have found Mindvalley and its varied classes. Luckily since I am retired I have no excuse not to do my studies and homework.
