As a young child, I broke 3 vertebrae in my spine and have overcome the effects of 4 different spinal diseases (talk about emotional baggage!) that have caused grief. After a lot of work on myself over the years, the only residual effect that I have exhibited for the last 3 years is a slight limp caused by two pinched nerves, but that hasn't stopped me from regularly going to the gym; staying fit, active and healthy; and looking after myself well.
Six years ago I realized that I was not finding fulfillment in my life, so I took early retirement, downsized my communications company, and went on to earn a 4year BSc. in energy healing at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing in Florida. This was profoundly life-altering and infused my life with the depth and richness that I sought. It helped to heal my relationship with my soul, which is the real nature of energy healing.
Shortly after I had graduated, a vision was 'downloaded' to me to create a permaculture farm and visitor centre in a forested area that is near my cabin in the northern part of our province. Clearly, without money to fund this, it could not be realized. With the legalization of cannabis in Canada, however, an ideal opportunity arose to create a cash cow that could satisfy a demand for quality, local, craft cannabis, while providing me with the funds to support the grand vision. While I don't use recreational cannabis myself, the medical cannabis I use has freed me from all use of pharmaceutical meds, which were causing their own problems. This grow-op is my current pursuit as a step to make this vision happen. I have found a greenhouse to rent, have been working with my cannabis experts/consultants, have potential investors lined up, and am about to launch this first phase of my plan. I see everything as an opportunity to create.
The attached diagram is the vision of what I will be developing over the next several years, and one of my countless goals is to have you, Jon and Missy, come and stay at the visitor lodge as my guests. Borealis Farm - phase 1 - is about to launch in support of this vision.
Your Lifebook course has been very helpful in focusing down to an even more granular level to round out my entire life without negating my own needs. It has also helped to reinforce the fundamental beliefs I have about helping others while putting my own happiness in all 12 categories, out front. I have accomplished much in my life but it has often come at a personal cost, and that has now ended. I come first and everything else happens because of that.
One of my teachers at the healing school called me a 'master manifestor' and I believe that to be correct. If I am fearless in creating my visions, it then allows others who may be less able, to still tap into the resources I can create, to realize their own visions.
There are many innovations and goals in my plan to get children (and everyone!) back into nature as a true healing vessel while eating organic food that they may have helped to grow.
I also see the offseason being a time when wonderfully imaginative foods might be created and packaged for commercial sale, and where health researchers might use the facility to run retreats pertaining to the use of cannabis products for healing and wellness. I also hope to support health research at our university by supplying excellent quality product for their studies,
There is also a meditation garden and countless other features to promote healthy living.
I am both patient and persistent. The vision isn't going away and is only getting stronger. It will happen because I am 12 categories smart, thanks to you.
Kindest regards and deepest thanks for your guidance,
Deborah Black
(It wouldn't let me attach my Borealis Farm vision board)
