Six weeks ago I had an idea of where I wanted my life to go, but no idea of how to get there, seemingly insurmountable odds, and some iffy habits that weren't helping. I was what I jokingly referred to as a "reluctant couch potato" who signed up for yoga teacher training in spite of being disabled and chronically ill -- hoping I could heal myself and then help others.
Thankfully, John and Missy, through Lifebook Online, helped me bring consciousness and intention to every area of my life, refining my vision and giving me a focus that has helped me lay aside a number of habits that weren't serving me.
Although I still have this body, which is post two brain surgeries and the resulting difficulties those have brought, I know with dedication, consistent action, accountability, focus, and a heap of self-compassion, I will achieve my goal of becoming a yoga teacher. I want to become a yoga teacher because tome it is about wholeness, healing, freedom, and joy in body, mind, and spirit.
Although my body may not be completely healed, I do find healing, I am whole, I am free, and I am joyful. I simply want to help other people find their true expression of those same qualities.
John and Missy have brought me a long way in six weeks and I look forward to the next stage of the adventure with them and the rest of the Lifebook community.
