" I haven't come across another system that creates such clarity and consciousness for every area of our lives"

Just doing the Lifebook assessment, alone, has changed the trajectory of my life. It's been a strange year for all of us. My Mum died in March 2020, peacefully in her sleep at the age of 92, which was a blessing as she didn't suffer at all.

Then I finally ended my long-distance relationship with a delightfully unsuitable man and so spent much of lockdown in the UK alone, as I wasn't part of anyone's bubble.

Initially, it was hard but I am grateful that I have had a spiritual practice for many years which has supported me through this transition, allowing me not only to survive but to thrive. What started off as feeling isolated and lonely transformed into me appreciating having the solitude to deeply reflect and make more conscious decisions and distinctions about my life than I have ever made before. I watched my mind and the conversations it was having. It was feeling pretty sorry for itself and I knew that I was in victim mode, which wasn't going to do me any good, at all.

Being a student of Michael Bernard Beckwith (if you haven't done his Quest - Life Visioning Mastery - I thoroughly recommend it), I started to ask myself better questions. Instead of, "Why am I going through this on my own," my question became, "What is trying to emerge, here, that presently I cannot see?"
Through asking this and other empowering questions, I gave my mind positive food for thought and started to get clarity about what was working in my life and what wasn't. It was a time of spring cleaning and I let a lot of stuff go - a couple of friendships that had run their course in their current form - and the need for external interaction/validation to determine how I felt about myself and my sense of self-composure and happiness.
It wasn't easy as I am sociable and I love people but I feel I have a stronger foundation of self-worth and appreciation than I have experienced before.

I'd taken Mindvalley Membership, as there were a number of Quests I wanted to take and was completing a couple at the same time, when I saw Vishen's interview with Jon and Missy on Lifebook. I was utterly captured by their story and immediately took the Life assessment.

My life came out in the extraordinary category, which was great to see. It was good to acknowledge how rich my life is and be grateful for that - while still wanting to grow and fine-tune. Going through the twelve categories brought me two profound realizations, which have changed my life.

The first one was in the area of my career/business. I have run a leadership development consultancy for over ten years. I love the work I do, enabling people to see their own innate brilliance and embracing it, to become the best version of themselves, the best leaders they can be.

Just before the pandemic the focus of my work had largely been involved with helping leaders and their teams deal with conflict in the workplace. I am good at facilitating this and most people find this very challenging (especially as we are Brits - we hate confrontation). It is an area of development that is much needed and it just seemed to make sense, particularly with the fallout from the pandemic.

Doing the assessment I asked myself, do I want to focus of my work to be primarily on conflict resolution, day in, day out? The answer was a resounding, "No!" Even though I'm good at it, I'm very empathetic and can be wiped out by a tough session for a couple of days - not the best management of my energy.
I am returning to my first love - supporting women leaders/aspiring leaders to be the best version of themselves so that they can do their part to lead the change they want to see in the world. I'm currently working on my beta programme which will be released in June, 2021.

The second huge 'aha' came with the family of categories.
The majority of my family live in New Zealand and I have made the decision to emigrate in October of this year!
Because my business is online, now, it makes that part of the move easier. I already have supportive business contacts, there, and have been delighted to connect with Lifebook members living in New Zealand. It's not always easy to understand what is happening when we are going through a transition.
Looking back, now, I can see that Life wasn't isolating me; it was unpicking me from my life in the UK, so that I could make a new one in New Zealand and have a second chance at having a family around me.
All of that before I'd even started the programme!

The programme itself was very powerful. Though I have done personal, spiritual and professional development for many years I haven't come across another system that creates such clarity and consciousness for every area of our lives. It is profound.

I have (of course) signed up to Lifebook Mastery, which I know is going to provide the missing pieces of the jigsaw puzzle to enable me to get each area of my life in great shape, to create a life that's even more extraordinary - as well as giving me an extraordinary peer group of like-minded people to share the journey.

Jon and Missy, Mindvalley, thank you for this extraordinary, life-changing gift. I am truly appreciative and will pay it forward through my life and work.

With immense gratitude, Felicity

The photo is with my hanging out with my family in NZ - can't wait for it to be less than a 24hr journey to see them!
