Halfway through, my husband lost his job. I had to put my own coaching business on hold to seek out fulltime employment. My kids were quarantined at home due to a COVID outbreak at school.
Life seemed to be spinning out of control with no answers in sight. I could have decided I didn't have time for this experience. I could have stopped. I could have turned to the emergencies happening all around me and let myself spiral into despair and hopelessness.... But that's not who I am. I kept going with Lifebook and found that focusing on my Vision, my future, is what has kept me joyful, hopeful, and grateful through this new season of our life.
Focusing on the 12 categories has allowed me to question each of the choices we're making in a way that allows me to focus on moving our life closer to our dreams. We're not simply running away from challenge and struggle - but running toward a life we love.
Things got turned upside down 3 weeks ago. We're no closer to answers about how to pay the bills or what the next few months will look like... But with my Lifebook plan in hand, those "difficult" conversations are now filled with vision, hope, and excitement.
I'm so thankful that Lifebook came along at the moment it did. I have full confidence that because of this experience, life is only going to get better and better over the coming months and years... and I can't wait to see what unfolds!
