"I have found the process enlightening"

I recently moved back to Australia after almost 20 years in London, UK with my family. The last couple of years in London were hard emotionally and practically. Our 4 year struggle to have a second child did not work and it had impacted many parts of our lives. I felt spent physically, emotionally and financially. We had been talking about moving back home (for me, my husband and son are British not Australian) for about 7 years (the age of my son) and the stars aligned to light the path home, returning in December last year, 2019. Every international move is fraught with issues and risks across different areas. We have been no exception, from jobs, schools to finding our feet and friends, there was much to navigate. I came across an ad for Lifebook in early March and did the masterclass, which really resonated with me. There was a lot for me to think about, and I being a business as well as a creative individual I thought the format and structure of the course was fantastic and really fitted me and my life. It made absolute sense to plan for my future across all aspects of my life. And I knew there were some areas (eg. finances) which really needed a light shining on them to help me define my goals and overall life aspirations. I have found the process enlightening and have immensely enjoyed both the content as well as defining my own output and can't wait for the next implementation phase. As a delivery (I implement change for a living !) minded individual, I am absolutely hyped to get this done, because I know that well thought out and defined planning can really yield results. I have never really thought to apply my work practices to all areas of my life! The concept is original and comprehensive and I am grateful I've had the opportunity to participate. I look forward to sharing my progress, experiences and thoughts over the coming months. Thank you Jon and Missy and the rest of the Lifebook community for the support and love.
