I had the impression that the Lifebook online program would help me to reorganize my thoughts about the various domains of my life. I was not disappointed.
Even though I started with a high score on the personal assessment, my score at the end of the program was significantly higher still. I gleaned many insights that may be blazing flashes of the obvious for many, but by approaching the program with a beginners mind they were profound for me. Intellectually we think we "know" many things, but with the right conditions we find out we may not "know" as much as we think we know.
For example, the fact that I could choose my emotional state is obvious on an intellectual level. "I already know that!" However, when Jon said it, it was like a whack on the side of the head for me. I was actually ready to really understand and apply it daily.
Now in my gratitude journal I state twice a day: "I feel GREAT!" And, I do feel great! So simple, yet so profound and life changing.
I am retired, but I still seek ways to generate value for others. When I was working I never thought about my career in that way. Now it helps clarify and inform what I choose to do with my time and energy. I could not stop learning if I tried. My advice is to never stop learning. Never stop growing. Live like your love, and you will love like you live.
The pictures I included need captions. Firstly, there definitely is a Paradise..., and it's in Kansas! Secondly that is Emerson's house behind me in the other picture. I Love My Life! I hope you love yours too.
