"I am so extremely grateful for being able to take the first steps forward in this journey"

After believing for way too long that struggling at a 9-5 to was the only way to make it in life (because, hello, that’s what our society teaches us from a young age) I decided to break away from this compromising thought process. We spend most of our time trying to make money but we’ve never been taught in school, by society, or elsewhere how to go about doing it but yet we are excepted to figure it out and somehow succeed. Well, I felt sick and tired of just getting by and bearly saving. Not to mention my job was just beating me into the ground, no matter how well I did at it or how hard I worked  at it I never got anything more out of it than a paycheck and a hugely drained physical, mental, and emotional state. I realized after 3 years that the job and work environment would never change, but that I could make a change for myself because nobody else is in control of my reality except for me. About a seven months later I found the courage to love myself and my family enough to say “No thank you, I’ve had enough.” and I resigned. Now I am free to pursue my purpose in this world. I aim to bring value to our community and to the world through intention, consciousness,  balance, and being in alignment with my authentic purpose. I believe we are all unique and have many gifts and talents to share with the world. I am so extremely grateful for being able to take the first steps forward in this journey and to be moving towards positivity, creation, and happiness...because life is meant to be lived and enjoyed (as I learned in the course).
