"A mindset shift"

I was somewhere between falling apart and doing great. My 8 year old daughter suffers from multiple  mental health issues and every day is different. I was feeling good about myself before the program, but a little less anchored about the rest of my life. I didn't know where my marriage was heading, I knew some of the things that I wanted more out of my relationship and life in general but was lost as far as how to move in a positive direction.
I haven't had any big changes in my life-yet. Just more a mindset shift. One thing I did do is purchase a gift card towards the trip to Greece I've always wanted to take. I symbolic promise to myself and the first step on that journey.

Biggest insights:
1) Realizing my marriage does indeed take work-and not just from my husband. I need to take responsibility for my end of things and continue to learn & grow in my relationship also.
2) Realizing that I really am ok with my career, even though I don't make much. I really love what I do and I find purpose in helping the kids and staff I work with. I can make other decisions with our money to improve my quality of life (my biggest dreams for this category include traveling the world).
3) Purchasing a gift card for my trip. It wasn't a large amount, but it's something!
