"We have become a strong family of support and encouragement, acknowledgment, and celebration."

Jon Butcher's story enticed me to sign up for LifeBook in January 2019. I had experienced much trauma and tragedy, and I was looking for a way out. I had spent lots of money on therapists who were validating my feelings and my thinking so I knew at some level that nothing was really wrong with me. Yet, for some reason, I kept hitting a glass ceiling and could not figure out how to grow beyond it. Through LifeBook, I joined a Tribe, The Great Alliance, that meets weekly via Zoom for over a year (March '19). We support, encourage, and share tips with one another. We were 8 strong, but down to 4. We have become a strong family of support and encouragement, acknowledgment, and celebration. My Tribe reminds me of the growth they have seen in me and encourages me to continue stepping into my dream. I just now enrolled in Duality. I lived in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina devastated the area. Before Katrina, I had a good sense of who I was and my spirituality. The Friday before Katrina hit, I purchased a property for rental investment, and I was able to get insurance on it. That following Sunday night just three days later, Katrina hit and ravaged the city and entire Mississippi Gulf Coast. Though my residence was damaged and the home was inhabitable, the property I purchased days before had minimal damage, no flooding. It was a miracle that I had a place to live even though over 80% of the entire area had been devastated. I followed my gut, purchased that house just three days before Katrina hit New Orleans, and I had a place to live while I took care of my damaged home and other business. I am looking to recreate that connection of spiritual awareness, intuition, and to strengthen trust within myself once again. This time for good. I see that possibility with Duality. I am standing in the celebration of who I am becoming and the impact I am meant to have on others given my ability to survive and thrive through all life has given me. I am beyond the glass ceiling. I remember when I was young hearing from my elders, "The sky is the limit." Today, I recognize there are no limits. Thank you, God. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, MindValley. Hallelujah!
