I've joined Evercoach and Mindvalley for the purpose of growing myself personally as a coach. A few years ago, I was sure I knew what path I wanted to travel professionally, that is, I wanted to become a leadership/teambuilding trainer. I love growing others into become the leader they desire to be and I especially love to bring individuals together to work as a well-oiled machine. I stared a part time business back in 2010. However, with a full-time job, I could not devote the time or efforts into building or branding my business.
I almost gave up the entire idea of owning and operating my own business a few years ago because I had a full-time job and I didn't have the time or effort to focus on building a business. I was really discouraged at myself for wanting to give up.
I didn't want to give up so I hired a coach to help me find my direction. This coach was helpful, but not impactful to realize my dreams. I was still lost and still filled with self-doubt whether I should pursue taking on my own business.
Also, I few years back, I came across Mindvalley and Evercoach. I started signing up for the "free" master courses and some small paid for courses. Yet, I never applied my learnings moving forward whole heartedly. I still followed the companies because I knew how valuable the training was.
Two years ago, I had an epiphany. I was really great at coaching others, however, I never considered myself to be a coach. I have been in leadership capacities for nearly 40 years and it was when I was listening to a program Rich Litvin was talking on when he said something along the lines of, "just because you haven't been called an official coach, doesn't mean you are not a coach." This opened my eyes and my spark for continuing on with my passion to teach others and build a business.
Early in 2021 on Mindvalley's FB page a new initiative was started, Peer Coaching and Mastermind Groups. I wanted to be part of this and learn from others as well as grow with others. I put away my Imposter Syndrome mentally and went full steam ahead. I was so excited about this; however, I quickly became discouraged again because the Master Minds and Peer Coaching were on days and times I had to work. I didn't want my discouragement to overcome me so I sent an email to Toma Mol asking, if possible, to host a MM on a Saturday. He quickly got to work and introduced me to Bio "Raphy" Sabidare.
Ralphy helped me to set up a MM for me to host. He participated as a co-host on the first MM meeting and from that point on, I was the MM host. What a fantastic experience. I've met and trained with coaches from all around the world. I then was asked by Toma if I would be interested in becoming an Evercoach Ambassador for our current MM initiative on Evercoach. I am proud to announce that I am Ambassador.
Since jumping in full steam ahead at the beginning of 2021, I have bought several Mindvalley programs to help me develop my skills as a coach. I am also happy to announce that I am retiring from my current full-time position of nearly 30 years on November 26th, 2021 and will be pursuing my passion to becoming the best coach to those who want or need their lives transformed.
I also have other goals; to become an employee of Mindvalley/Evercoach as a Master Coach/Trainer, to be part of A-Fest someday and speak on the Mindvalley Stage.
Thank you Vishen Lakhiani, Ajit Nawalkha, Toma Mol, Bio "Raphy" Sabidare and all the fantastic coaches I became involved with in 2021 for believing in me and not allowing my dream to be just a dream.
