I enrolled in Duality because I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 3 months before and, while I made good recovery in terms of physical function, my energy was depleted to a point where I could not get out of bed to do the most basic things like warming up food for dinner. This was when I realized that I need to learn more about what energy is, and how to manage it on a day to day basis.
Shortly thereafter, I saw an ad for Duality on YouTube. I normally ignore YouTube ads but something told me to watch it (now I know it was my Spirit Guides!).
The ad was intriguing and I did the free workshop which was also intriguing but I was hesitant about spending the money on the course.
Over the next few weeks, I saw another dozen ads, got a big unsolicited contribution from my friends through GoFundMe, and kept having recurrent thoughts of Duality. I finally decided I have no more excuses and enrolled.
My first big success story came four weeks into the course. Since my diagnosis, I have not been able to go outside due to fatigue and extreme energetic sensitivity.
My fatigue began to slowly improve after I started acupuncture, but I still had a hard time being outside or around people due to my sensitivity. After learning about earth/cosmic energies and the permission rose, I felt like testing them out by going on a short 5 minute walk. I focused on earth energy the entire time and, whenever I encountered another person, I visualized my permission rose and a copy for the other person. My planned 5 minute walk turned into a 30 minute one and I came home with a relatively good energy level. The best part - I got a text from my mom with a photo of a rose she saw on the street earlier in the day. She had no idea about my walk or the permission rose, she just got an impulse to send me the photo.
I finished the course this week and other success stories include going on a short hike, being able to host a playdate for my daughter, and having a small group of friends over at my house. All of these activities were still challenging for me, but using earth energy and the permission rose (as well as other tools I learned from other Mindvalley courses), allowed me to keep my energy strong and enjoy the experiences without being overwhelmed or exhausted.
