During the first meditation in last week's lesson when we tested the neutrality or lack thereof in the chakras I had made such a silly noise for negative on my energy meter that every time I heard it or even thought of it for a second I would burst out laughing so loudly. I still smile thinking of it. . It was totally funny to me. Yes, I do I love my amusement and neutrality!
I appreciated hearing more about the blue aura to help with stage fright. I have had the opportunity to try that a number of times over the past three weeks, and it is interesting! After my highest "pressure" gig where I was appearing with very high level performer/guitarists including folks I have read about in magazines and have looked up to for years I was told that I seemed so relaxed and assured in my performance and my talking with the audience. I also have been trying to kick into the idea of collective learning that Jeffrey mentions at the beginning of each session when we put our learning experiences in a group bubble and draw on each others' knowledge. I sometimes try to access guitar knowledge when I am practicing.
Before the previously mentioned performance everyone was warming up and sounding really impressive to me. I was still changing guitar strings and had not yet played that day so I was feeling tense and like I may not be able to keep up with everyone else. When I finally went to warm up I was playing more easily with higher speed than usual and more fluidly and I was able to reach that higher height in performance that you sometimes get when the crowd helps you transcend what you had been able to do in the past. I think I was also picking up on the group ability without even thinking about it, in addition to using the big blue aura. It felt really great! I am enjoying working with all these tools in performing and life in general. Thanks for all the fascinating information and tips!
