This program is a positive step in becoming the extraordinary person I know I can and will be. My awakening I experienced 23 years ago, when searching for the best creative university in the US. I requested information from several universities, and one day early summer, I received a postcard which image showed students standing at a beach area, each with a colorful sheer fabric in their hands blowing in the wind, and the headline said: Summer is a great time to visit Savannah!... This postcard came from my first choice on my list of universities... I smiled, and in my mind I heard the voice saying: 'I'm going to Savannah!' Mind you, I was not in the planning for traveling that summer (1997)... I went to my parents room, and showed my mom the postcard. All she told me was: "You know what to do." I smiled and heard the voice again... "I'm going." A few weeks later I was on the plane on my way to visit the university campus and get acquainted with the city I would call my home for four years, Savannah, Georgia.
