When I signed up for the Be Extraordinary course, I had little faith in completing the course in full. I am used to having a busy life and put everyone’s needs in front of me that I ‘ran out of time’ most of the days. Lucky for me, that I found Vishen’s teaching was so straight to the point and easy for me to understand. He is engaging and inspiring. I started to want to start my day with this short video session and be inspired by it. I now start my day with the Gratitude and Segment intention exercise before I get out of bed. Then the affirmation when I prepare to work. I have been doing it consistently for the last few weeks and it feels part of me now. It is certainly worth it to put in the little effort, as I feel the positive energy covering me and start the day with calm and confident mind. The most amazing thing since started the program is that I realized my dream of bridging the meditation world into a financial corporation. (It has been my soul blueprint to bridge the two worlds- spiritual and corporations)
I leveraged a work speaker event to reach out to my work HR to try to set up a Mindfulness club a few weeks back. The proposal was rejected at first, however, I used one of Vishen’s techniques of visualization of how the mindfulness culture will benefit the staff but after that I let it go. Then out of the blue, about 2 weeks later, 2 different internal network leads reached out to me to want to work together to incorporate mindfulness in the D&I network and a staff club. It all started very sudden and within a week, I am in the D&I committee and driving the mindfulness-awareness part. At the same time, I am also now a staff club lead. Together with the main leads, we have held the first member online session and introduced a 10mins short meditation focusing on breathing.
I am now part of the international bank’s lead to drive mindfulness. This is one of the amazing reflection of Be Extraordinary. I am looking to learn from the guru like Vishen on how to continue to positively influence the corporate world with an even bigger impact which will eventually benefit not just the employees, but the community the big bank will serve in the future. Thanks Mindvalley for bringing in the powerful program. Thanks, Vishen for being true to yourself and for you letting me know That it is possible for a Malaysian to be such a worldwide phenomenon, as I am Malaysian too and really proud of being one now. I am inspired to be one too. Looking forward to meeting all of you.
