I know this, but it was such a good reminder. When you operate from confusion or scarcity, you create more of it. But when you shift your internal operating system, your goals, actions, and life in general upgrade with it.
Vishen shared five principles to help you show up with devotion: ritual over motivation, identity-based habits, service over self, embodiment, and non-attachment to the outcome. I love this simple framework and have already applied it to my meditation practice, anchoring the habit more deeply. What resonated most for me was taking on the identity of the person I am becoming.
I loved how Vishen invited us to hold our goals lightly, and demonstrated this by first gripping something tightly in the hand, then relaxing it. The sense of ease and flow was tangible in that moment, and it’s something I’ve carried with me since.
