"I am so excited to be on this journey"

My moment of awakening stated with my hairstylist of 7 years gifting me with the book The Power of Now by Ekhart Tolle. It was April of 2018 ...during my regular appointment in her upscale studio in a busy shopping center. Throughout my years with her as my stylist, she shared a story of her dreams with me. At that time she rented a small station in a prestige hair salon. Her dream was ambitious and bold. She spoke of spirituality I have not known before and vision boards and dreams. One day, 4 years ago, she told me of her vision to own a studio and writing a check for 1 million dollars. She wrote a check that day and pinned it to her vision board. Two years ago she opened her own hair salon. She was always amazing to talk to and to learn from. For the same seven years of me being her client, she listened to me on my journey of being a victim in an unhappy marriage and living life for my mother, my husband and not for myself. That day, two years ago, she gave me the book in an attempt to pay it forward. She believed I was ready to start my journey. I read that book ... than A New Earth... than Stillness Speaks by Ekhart Tolle. I read A Book of Secrets and The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire by Deepak Chopra I read the Four Agreements and The Mastery of Love by Don Miguel Ruiz. All the messages spoke the wisdom of change and reality that can be created and dreamed of. The first book was read two years ago. A year ago I walked away from the relationship of 20 years. Last year was the happiest year of my life despite of challenges of divorce with three young kids. Last December I created the first vision board - one for myself and one with my kids. I am so excited to be on this journey. I wake up every morning with happy heart and anticipation of a wonderful day. Today is the first day of the program. I am grateful for this new experience with the Mindvalley.
