"He has worked tirelessly, visiting more than 60 countries to spread his knowledge of this remarkable training tool"

I first met Steve in 2008 when he came to South Africa to run a CKT1. I have always found him to be extremely humble and courteous; and willing to share his vast knowledge of kettlebells and training in general.
He has done more than any other individual that I know, to expand Kettlebell training to the rest of the world.
He has worked tirelessly, visiting more than 60 countries to spread his knowledge of this remarkable training tool. He has also worked with leaders within the field to further his knowledge, which he has continued to be generous with sharing with the rest of the world.
Credit also needs to be given to Steve for being, in all likelihood, the very first advocate of women training with Doubles (2 kettlebells simultaneously) - Indeed his CKT2 test for both men and women dates back to 2008, and was based on Girevoy Men’s Biathlon. In recent years, doubles for women has become a popular trend, but the original primary promoter of this liberating idea was Steve Cotter.
It is an honor to be associated with Steve and the IKFF worldwide family.
