From Allen Wrenches to Algorithms
In June 2025, Vishen gave us an exercise. He asked us to let AI write a letter to our future selves — based on everything it already knew about us.
Chat GPT wrote about a woman who didn’t just learn AI — she listened to it. Collaborated with it. Made it part of her compassionate voice in the world.
I didn’t know if I believed it when I read it.
I do now.

At first, AI Mastery felt like assembling IKEA furniture without the picture.
Tools everywhere. Me — slightly frantic, holding an Allen wrench, pretending I was fine.
(yes, that’s me in the photo)
To be fair — I had only opened ChatGPT for the first time in June of ’25. This was my very first look at artificial intelligence.
And I’m a nurse. Thirty years.
I came to Mindvalley because I wanted to help people through the hard stuff. The Business Accelerator course taught me something that stuck: only pivot if you have leverage.
So I stopped trying to be everything to everyone and started asking — what do I actually have that nobody else does?
Thirty years of watching people in pain. A nursing lens. And a very personal story.
In 2018, my son Anthony passed away. He was 20. He had this gift of making people feel seen — and that’s the part of him I refuse to lose.
After I lost him, on my worst days, I ended up at the kitchen table with my colored pencils. Over time, I discovered something quiet and repeatable — when you remove all choices – and focus only on the shadows, highlights, pressure, and breath; it becomes a nervous system reset.
That was the leverage.

Then AI Mastery hit. And what used to feel impossible… started feeling inevitable.
Now I’m building Shadows to Light — a creative nervous-system protocol that uses AI-generated shaded grayscale images to help people drop into flow while their thoughts untangle. No art skills required. No big decisions. Just hands moving and breath steadying while something inside starts to settle.
I’m starting where suffering is concentrated — cancer care, pediatric wards, and corrections — because the need is real and the impact can be measured.

Mindvalley gave me the container.
AI Mastery gave me the tools.
Anthony gave me the reason.
