A-Fest

"This event ripped me wide open"

Wow! I wanted to take a moment to say thank you.
This was our first A-Fest and to be completely honest I was pretty nervous. Unlike my very outgoing extrovert hubby, I'm reserved, a little quiet and cautious. I tend to be guarded when it comes to meeting new people. I was stretched out of my comfort zone. I hugged and kissed more people in the past five days than I think I have in my lifetime.
This event ripped me wide open. The extraordinary individuals that I met, the love that I felt from complete strangers, the sense of openness, belonging, and freedom to be myself and not feel judged was terrific. I have been searching for years to find someone to understand me and hold space for my quirkiness. I finally found my people, my tribe!!
I will never be the same, I'm forever changed and incredibly grateful. I love each of you, and our home is your home if you're ever in our town.
