I went to A-Fest for ‘connections’, but instead of simply connecting I ended up with an entirely new definition of what connecting really means.
I don’t think I have ever experienced this level of openness and acceptance in a group before, where no one bites their tongue when a difficult question or a beautiful compliment comes to mind.
The beauty of A-Fest is that we all teach each other something, not so much through the things we say, but through the things we do! At what other event do people actually line up and WANT to share their deepest feelings or intuitions on stage? That just never happens, but at A-Fest somehow we’ve managed to create an environment that makes you want to share your deepest secrets and crazy ideas, becoming closer to people you’ve known for a couple days than you have been to anyone else in your life.
A-Fest is worth the investment 10x over, and I will take every opportunity to go again, to meet up with this amazing tribe of people that want to do everything in their power to improve their lives and the lives of those around them.
Put enough givers in a room, and everyone ends up receiving more than they ever bargained for, that’s the magic of A-Fest!!
