"I just finished doing Kristina's "Live By Your Own Rules" and felt connected"
I started reading "Code of The Extraordinary Mind back around 2010 or 2011. I have always been curious about the human mind as well as consciousness and spirituality. For years I would go along with the tradition of my family. My parents were Methodist and I always felt this wasn't for me. I loved God but I have issues with organized religion. I was conditioned believing this is what I had to do to be accept into my family and in my marriage as well. Once I read or hear the terms "Brules" and "Unfuckwithable I knew I was heading into the right pack. 4 years ago both my parents passed away and I was about to get into a battle with my siblings and wife over our parent's inheritance. I went through a depression and noticed that I have been self-sacrificing my life over my family and my wife. I decided to end the marriage to my wife and for a while was estranged from my siblings. I was living with my daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren until my son-in-law decided to throw me because I was self-sacrificing for everyone. Temporarily I was staying with my sister's whose was living in the house we all inherited. I decided it was time for me to set boundaries and quit people pleasing and rescuing family and members and concentrate on myself. I stopped attending the family church and decided to atttend the Unitarian Universalist church were I'm involved in things such as racial and social issues to better help BIPOC. I had the Mindvalley app but at the time couldn't afford some of the membership due to alimony for my now ex-wife. Once I was able to make adjustments I have started taking some quests. I just finished doing Kristina's "Live By Your Own Rules" and felt connected. I especially love her meditations and feel more optimistic and excited to see what my next journey in life. I made some new friends in the Colorado Mindvalley Group and looking for more adventures in the near future.
