I was contemplating how to connect my skills and desire to help others into a meaningful second act when I found the Certified Life Coach and Your First $2k Coaching Quests. This was no coincidence!
Before this Quest my life was in transition from corporate life and 14-hour days to the next life phase, whatever that would be. Always I planned to have a second career and wanted to use my skills and successes honed over many years of working in progressive finance roles. I want to help business owners and young entrepreneurs to grow their companies but at same time preserve a work-life balance. So many times, we sacrifice one for the other, but I say we CAN have it all. We can reach our financial goals / dreams and still have meaningful home life with our spouses and children or time for friends and a social life, whatever we desire.
Your First $2K Quest helped me to think through whether I had any beliefs that may sabotage my dream or any hangups about money that would limit me. This was really enlightening, but the best part helped me to see that I really am good at what I do, and I am genuinely curious about others. It is authentic and this cannot be duplicated.
Rethinking prospecting – I had this all wrong in my mind. Now I see that sales are leadership, and we are just having directed conversations. I have a lot of experience and super packages for the right client. These conversations help me find out who best fits what I do so that we can make great progress together. This makes me so happy!
Dealing with No – prior to the quest, this gave me some anxiety, but now I see it as an opportunity to answer questions, provide further information, alternative solutions to pain points. This was also a major reframing of my thinking. I am thankful for this learning.
Finally, but not least, the toolbox of packages, proposals, pricing know-how, templates, and so on are fantastic! The quest makes it nearly turn-key!
I am ever grateful for Ajit and the team supporting him. This is a game changer for me!
