Xmas in Tallinn 2021

"This was highly emotional and deeply connected by the appreciation of human connection!"

2021 It had been a year of stop-start uncertainty, which came with many highs and many lows in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Lockdowns had been brutal if you are like me, that passionately love human interactions with deep connections and particularly enjoy live music and sporting events.
These were only slowly coming back with restrictions and then November 2021 strikes with a new Covid variant called ‘OMICRON’ that manifested and spread at great speed. It seemed we were going to have even more uncertainty as we move towards 2022.

But then… there was some light at the end of the tunnel where Vishen (CEO) Mindvalley, sends out a message to members to join him, his family and the Mindvalley staff for an event named ‘Xmas in Tallinn’.

I was desperate to get away and this was the message I was waiting for from the universe, at which point I jumped in immediately, by purchasing a ticket and contacting Mindvalley.
I was accepted and I was elated!

My journey was a challenge to get to Tallinn, I started by setting off at 5am on the Thursday xx December for Stansted Airport, despite being there 2 hours early there were major issues with the added security and health and safety measures due to omicron with a shortage of staff across the airport and the queues being horrendous.

I tried to get through customs which took an age with the time ticking down for me to get to the gate for my flight.
I finally get to the gate for my flight after 1.5 hours only being told that the gate had literally closed!
I was of course disappointed but definitely not defeated, so I pivoted and said to myself ‘I still want to go today and get to Tallinn’ and therefore on the spot looked for the next flights out connecting or direct to then find a flight leaving in 4 hours from Heathrow and purchased this on the spot.
I quickly made my way to Heathrow to fly out to Stockholm and then onto Tallinn reaching at 10:30pm in the evening and reaching Tallinn 6 hours later than scheduled.

I was adamant to rest up as I arrived in Tallinn and enjoy everything that the event had to offer, and what can I say, it did not disappoint from start to finish.

After all the safety precautions and testing by MindValley staff for COVID-19, and ensuring we were negative m, the event commenced.

Day-1 evening, We started with a medieval dinner and traditional Estonian food, where an exceptional group of beautiful people, came together during a pandemic. We had great conversations to break the ice and start off with a bang.

Day-2 we were invited to a Mindvalley mastermind and connection session where we connected in groups for exercises led by Mindvalley connection leadership and Vishen himself on various personal growth strategies and also as a surprise, Cryptocurrency / NFT’s / DOA; with a future view on Mindvalley in this space.

Day-2 Afternoon we split out into groups to go and choose between ice skating, a tour of Medieval tour of Tallinn or chocolate bon bons workshop.

I chose the Medieval tour of Tallinn which was fabulous where a decent size group together with all of Vishen’s family took the tour together in the Xmas spirit! It was fantastic!

Day-2 Evening was the Gold and white themed party in Tallinn, where all the group were dressed up in gold and white and had a fabulous time eating, drinking and dancing the night away !
This was a major highlight of the event! We loved it !

Day-3 Morning we had been invited to a beautiful brunch at Fotografiska, which is a gallery of modern art with a beautiful restaurant on the top floor penthouse views across Tallinn.
The brunch was amazing and the art was an added bonus to view.

Day-3 Afternoon we had a closing circle ⭕️ with surprises, which again was fabulous, it started with a local beautiful music band singing and playing to the group and then a session with Kristina of meditation and deep connection and gratitude with the individuals during the event.
This was highly emotional and deeply connected by the appreciation of human connection!
We also had some fabulous photographs by the Mindvalley team which were fun to be part of!

We didn’t want the event to stop there and therefore we all set up groups to have a final meal at different restaurants in Tallinn to top up on the high energy of the past few days and before we all start to set off back home from the beautiful event.

I would highly recommend it to anyone that wishes to join a Mindvalley event as the people Mindvalley attracts are of the highest quality in caliber in all areas of life.
It will be life-changing! Be it A-Fest or Mindvalley University or other Mindvalley events, they are to be embraced for the deep connections and life-changing shifts in mindset and transformation!
