After the Covid-19 pandemic stoke worldwide, of course, it became very hard -if not unlikely- to find a new job.
On the other hand, looking at the bright side, I had just gained the opportunity to spend more time with my 14-months old daughter and, for the first time in a decade, to rethink my trajectory for a professional future that I needed to be more aligned with the present Me.
Specifically, I was dreaming to develop a Project around a business idea that I had been “hiding” in a drawer for months, not confident enough to bring it to life. In that frame of thought, and utterly insecure about my own capacity to pursue any business idea, I knew that the only person who could help me step out of my comfort zone and believe in myself was Marisa Peer. I knew that from experience because in some respects I owe Marisa recovering from dreading emotional exhaustion and -afterward- achieving my long-pursued motherhood.
But that’s another story...! ;)
Back to this story, I decided that it was time to dust off and start again my Uncompromised Life Quest. I don’t deny that it was a long journey from the inception of a business idea to taking the first action towards my new goals.
However, while I also met a few people along the way who in different ways helped me shape my business idea, I undoubtedly had to take a lot of steps by myself and -most of all- BELIEVE that I could do it, overcome my insecurities and knock down many mental blocks.
First and foremost, I had to Believe that I was and I AM ENOUGH to walk this new path I have chosen for my life. There is no magic recipe. Any journey aiming at making a “dream” come through takes focus, determination, strength, a burning desire to succed and bullet-proof self confidence.
However, while it ought to be expected to find obstacles and stops along the way -as well as our old wrong beliefs knocking furiously on the doors of our unconscious mind- I have no doubt that the Uncompromised Life Quest has helped me greatly (again) to cope better with difficulties, perform better in my daily life and shape the confidence and determination which I needed to put myself on the right path to achieve my goals.
There is still a lot to learn, but the important thing is to put one foot in front of the other and keep walking on this path.
Today, although my business Project is still “under construction” and a lot is yet to be done, I am actively working on the prototypes of several products which I intend to register for international patent and I am confident that at least a couple of them do have the potentials to actually be launched on the Market.
To be continued... :)
Once again, thanks Marisa!
