Before starting Day 1 of Living an Uncompromised Life with Marisa Peer, I really did not have a great idea about how the mind worked. I've always wanted to create better, more productive habits that get me closer to the ultimate success I want to attain in my life. Every time I attempt these efforts, I feel like I fall short, because I still associate the things I do not want to do with "pain" and boredom. Learning today's lesson with Marisa was exactly what I needed to hear. All I have to do is tell my mind "I love this", "I want this", or "I choose to do this because I want to have success" and my mind will literally become my best friend. Before, I thought that positive thinking was the ticket to persevering, only I did not understand that I had to tell my mind that I "loved" what I was doing even though I did not. The habits I've had before this have been to persevere and do the things I do not enjoy doing, but still be stuck with my mind telling me that I did not want to do them. Now, I know that I can make the things I do not want to do enjoyable, because I know that they will get me to great success - which is what I desire. This is exactly the tool I have been looking for to help me live happily and awesomely in every area of my life. Thank you to Marisa and Mindvalley. You help so many people live incredible lives.
