The Fundamentals of Coaching

"This quest has also changed the way I interact with people in my daily life"

Before this program, I had been a travel agency manager for more than 23 years. During those years, I was recognized for my ability to foster a positive office environment, bring out the best in each team member, and keep them motivated and happy. However, over time, the job itself no longer motivated me. The only thing I still loved was the relationships with my team and helping them develop.
This is why I decided to transition into coaching, to focus on the human element and aid in people's development. I wanted to leverage my experience while staying true to my values, but I also felt the need to learn new techniques. It is very different to support people you engage with daily in the same field compared to those you don't know, who may work in fields where you have no experience.
In coaching, I discovered some techniques I was already familiar with, such as empathy and building trust, but others were less familiar, like "the Powerful questions" and the concept of not judging. Additionally, I realized I needed to work on refraining from giving my own point of view or suggesting what the coachee should do. This was a very humbling experience.
I recommend this quest because I find it complete and very. There are many samples and potential applications. I am also pleased with the support, exercises, and the opportunity to develop more specialties after completing the quest.
It's interesting because this quest has also changed the way I interact with people in my daily life. Even when I'm not coaching, I listen more and ask more questions. This brings something more to the relationships I have with people. I also gain trust and feel I open more opportunities in my future. I like to find a way to mix my love and experience for travel and coaching to help peoples
