My significant focus was media, communication and marketing. Each position carried a piece of work of a leader and a coach for my colleagues or subordinates. I am an absolute extrovert, I intuitively tried to do my best and the projects really worked out. Naturally, I can talk to people easily, and after two decades in business, I already have the amount of knowledge to be able to ask good questions. What I lacked was a more complete system, a methodology for approaching people with defined steps, so that I could give the necessary performance to clients every time.
Five years ago, I started training smaller groups - up to 12 people - and I found that if I always want to rely on myself, I have to go through the "upgrade" myself and get to know more.
For me, this course was primarily about learning about myself. I clarified a lot of things and in the end, some surprised me. Helping people, supporting them on their journey, is a challenge that fulfills me.
My main interest is to help young managers find a balance between work and personal / family life because at the time I was building a career, I did not have the support I needed in this area. Helping them understand their values, position in the company, responsibilities and the possibility of their effective setting are vital factors for quality, balanced life.
Training has moved me closer to this goal. It definitely directed me to further education and laid a solid foundation for my coaching career.
