My name is Duane and for the past 6 years I have operated as The Performance Coach. As a qualified Personal Trainer and business owner my coaching focus has always been around exercise, nutrition and helping my clients live a life they choose.
Living in the worlds most locked down city of Melbourne, I have realised that I was not living the life I choose and felt there was a need to focus on helping others around having a positive mindset and finding gratitude each day for the things that light up our lives.
I enrolled in the Quest as I wanted to learn some fundamentals around coaching so that I could step out of my 9-5 and coach on a full time basis.
The biggest challenge I have faced is what you resist will persist and I have had some resistance to certain things in my life and truly believe the Universe has sent me back down this path to teach me new things and learn new lessons.
My top 3 takeaways during this course has been firstly, to just be open and have an open mind. Secondly, do what makes you happy each day and thirdly, wake up each day with gratitude. It is with these 3 things you can make a difference in the world and bring joy to so many others.
I was feeling STUCK! I was feeling UNHAPPY! I certainly wasn't showing up as myself. After completing this course I felt an overwhelming sense of joy knowing I have found my place in the world and I am about to create change.
