Before I started this program, I had a lot of anxiety and worry around speaking, especially when it was in front of several people. And quite honestly, I think my speaking was kind of boring before this class.
Through this program, not only have I overcome that feeling while speaking, and become a much better speaker. But it has helped me through an even larger challenge. The week of October 28th, I was visiting my parents that week for my mom's 83rd birthday, two days later she had a heart attack. Luckily, I was there with her and got her medical attention. I only missed one class - to be able to take her to a cardiac assessment. I decided to stay with my parents, because the other piece of this puzzle is that my father has dementia, and cannot care for my mom. This has been a whole new challenge in so many ways. However, using new tools of communication, emotion, understanding and hypnosis (to relieve anxiety) I have been able to navigate this.
The hypnosis sessions with Paul really opened up a new way of being and thinking for me that has brought more happiness and ease into my life, that I have been sharing with friends, family and social media. It has also helped me to understand that these experiences will help me to do my work much better, and are creating new stories to share. Thank you for so much, this was such an amazing class!! I am over the moon for Mindvalley!
