Six months ago I was terrified of public speaking. I had guested on some podcasts and interviews where I was invited to speak about my area of expertise, but I didn't want to even watch the recordings of them because I felt that I did so poorly due to my nervousness. Yet I have a message that I desperately want to share with the world. I've written a book, articles, and blog posts, but I knew I needed to speak to get people to read what I've written.
The Speaking and Influence Mastery program was incredible in the way it got me over my fear. I don't understand how it managed to change me so much, but there is no doubt that it transformed me. Eric Edmeades is the most effective teacher and role model I've ever had, and the guest speakers were all impactful.
When I was little over halfway through the program, I found an opportunity to speak on a small stage and couldn't believe the reception I received. I was even able to watch the video of my speech without cringing.
Now that I have finished the program, I'm a totally different person. I'm eager to speak whenever and wherever I can. I can now express the important ideas that I had so much trouble articulating before. Learning from Eric is the best investment I've ever made.
