I'm in a corporate role, and I was looking for something to break out of the routine and do something different. I do presentations in the corporate world, but I wanted something more.
Being able to really tell my story and get my message out to others, and to have that skill—from a more emotional, heartfelt perspective rather than just PowerPoint and bullet points—was exactly what I wanted. I just wanted the ability to communicate that and help people.
For me, walking into this conference, or walking into this academy, was overwhelming. I thought, “I don’t have any stories. I’m not a storyteller. Who would want to hear my stories anyway?” That was the little voice in my head as I came into the academy, thinking I had nothing to offer. But by the end of the first day, I had half a page of ideas like, “Oh yeah, I could talk about that... Oh, and there was that one too!” By the end of the program, I had a page and a half of different things I could start telling stories about.
That was probably the biggest aha moment for me: actually realizing that I do have a lot of stories to tell.

So, that’s been the biggest issue and the biggest breakthrough for me. The biggest challenge I had coming into the Business Speaking Academy was figuring out how to get my message out effectively. Now, I can tell my story so much more effectively.
For me, it's about the whole package: the coaching, the training, the six-phase program, and then the speaking that ties it all together in a beautiful package that I can now take far and wide.
If anybody is thinking about doing any kind of speaking or presenting, I’ve looked at a lot of programs, and this one puts it all together in a way that’s so much more digestible, attainable, and achievable. It breaks down all the barriers, removes the uncertainties and confusion, and just gives you the tools you need.
This Speaking Academy is incredible. Five days in the Business Freedom Speaking Academy is mind-blowing. I don’t know how else to explain it. I’ve done presentations before, and I’ve presented in front of large audiences, but this is on a whole new level. I can see where this is going to take me and everyone else in this group to a whole new level. So, I’m really excited.
