Speaking Academy

"I realized that I used to be one of the best in a small pond, but now I understand that I can be one of the best speakers in the world"

I had the opportunity to go through the Speaking Academy back in 2018, and my story is a bit different from most.
I used to be someone who was very afraid of public speaking. But by the time I joined the program, I had already overcome some of my biggest fears about stepping onto a stage. I do a lot of work in front of cameras and on stages as a public speaker.
When I attended the training, I came in with the mindset that I was already good at public speaking—I had experience, I was comfortable with words, and I had some level of charisma. I thought I would simply get a bit better. But what happened during the five-day process completely surprised me. I actually ended up rating myself lower as a speaker than when I first started.
So, how did I improve as a speaker? The reason was fascinating: I discovered many little nuances that could enhance my public speaking, things I’d never considered before. The way I approach the stage and the way I rate myself now as a speaker has far exceeded any ratings I had before. However, I ended up rating myself a 6 out of 10 because the program unlocked a new level of potential in me. I realized that I used to be one of the best in a small pond, but now I understand that the ocean is the limit, and I can be one of the best speakers in the world.
That realization would not have come to me without the personal transformation that came with the Speaking Academy. While you go through public speaking training, be ready for a lot of personal breakthroughs. Once I worked through those layers of personal growth, it opened up the possibilities of what I could become as a public speaker.
Now, every time I take the stage, I have crowds coming up to me—taking pictures, telling me how much they enjoyed the content. The kicker? I don’t even use slides anymore in my presentations. I used to rely on slides as a crutch to remind me of what to say next. But with the techniques Eric teaches, I’ve learned that you never need to rely on slides again. Whether there’s a technical failure or you simply want to deliver a message on stage without preparation, you’ll be able to share something powerful and inspiring that connects with your audience.
If you’re considering the Speaking Academy, I cannot recommend it enough. It made a tremendous impact on me, and I know it will do the same for you.
