I want to summarize it in a few bullet points:
- First of all, I took the decision in January to come to the event, it was not an easy decision knowing that I had difficulty walking due to an ankle injury. And I knew I could come with crutches. So I had to prepare myself to eventually not be fully able to run around, but that I would be fully present with each of my meetings during my short stay and the Mindvalley event!
- This is what I did, I arrived two days before the event and even though I tried to participate in meetups organized by locals and failed. I took the time to visit a few places by myself, I met people from different culture and backgrounds, always ready to help me with my slight handicap. I enjoyed every moment and cherished them, knowing how lucky I was to be able to offer myself such moments of discovery and exchange. And to be able to live them on my own, welcoming the unknown with an enormous benevolence towards all those I met, I understood how much I had already learned to love myself.
- Then there was the start of the event on Saturday morning. Having crutches, I found myself at the head of the line, next to some lovely people with whom I was able to chat before we entered the room. And the magic of synchronicity and certainty of my connection with the universe, which has put on my path several people with whom I could exchange about my professional and personal experience.
I explained that I was writing a book that I never finished, explaining, that I was hoping to share/bring some tools through my own life story. I’ve gotten incredible feedback. People wanted to invite me to their countries to organize an event around this book (South Africa, Kenya, Dubai, Italy, India). The actual title is called From Roots to Flying. It tells the story of a woman who became a mum and a mother through the adoption of a wonderful little girl from China and who, through her motherhood, felt even more the need to do personal development to allow her daughter to become an independent and loving human being, without feeling locked into family or societal patterns. And I tell the wonderful story of this child, my daughter of love and my story of a mother and woman who learned to love, respect and grow, thanks to this beautiful little girl who is now a young adult of 20 years.
By telling some anecdotes and giving some possible keys to feel more actor of our lives, I saw that I touched people. And that if this book was sitting in a folder on my computer, I had to pick it up and finish it. Besides, I heard Marisa Peer's message during her conference, who told us: You are not just writing a book! You are writing a bestseller!
- The other interesting points for me, all interventions of Vishen Lakhiani and the tools that he shared with us! I also started using again the Silva method right away when I returned home. And I started to use a journal, in which I write every day, sentences that start with WhY ? And I see the positive impact of this on a daily basis.
- I made a clear request to the universe to have an impact through my workshops and conferences. As soon as I got back to Geneva, I had a 3-hour workshop on self-confidence on Friday March 3rd as part of my job coaching and I received an immediate response from participants. They applauded me and thanked me for my energy and my sharing of experience and as well as tools I shared. The universe is clearly showing me that I am on the path to my mission.... It feels great!
- I also decided to take the opportunity to take the Business Coach course, knowing that it will certainly give me tools that will be beneficial for my near future. Can't wait to start on April 4th.
- Dr. Shefali, intrigued me by her speech on education, thanks to her intervention, I was capable of sharing my experience with women who felt lost in front of this educational challenge!
- Sara Almadani, showed me once again the importance of not getting stuck in family or societal stereotypes and above all to trust yourself.
- Maria Conceicao, by her determination and courage, inspired me to always go further and higher by believing in our abilities and daring to surpass ourselves all our lives!
- Jim Quick, as amazing learning techniques, which I’m slowly starting to follow on the Mindvalley app.
- Lisa Nichols, was a great inspiration, as she reminded us the importance of being our own light to also shine together!
- Just a downside, I didn't make it to your Publishing booth, I was tired and with crutches waiting wasn't always easy. But since I returned, I got back to writing my book, and I hope to still be able to present it to you this year 2023.
- And then, I would love to participate in your Summer University in Estonia, as a facilitator. As I am an actress and director and a theater teacher, I regularly lead acting workshops for kids/young people and adults. I like to create what I call philosophical/ Enlighten theater workshops, where we can, through creativity, expression, and emotions, put together and work around a universal theme. The one that stands out for me today is ask the question: What is happiness for you? It allows us to co-create around that a show of hope and love. If my idea seduces you, keep me informed! I can still reorganize my month of July.
Well through this testimony, I hope I made it clear that my participation has been more than beneficial and I know that I am on the path of abundance! And my mojo is definitely: Your life is not about you. Rather your life is about the lives of everyone you touch.”
My best thoughts to all the Mindvalley team
