Prior to joining this course, I had been a Mindvalley member for around 2 years. During this time my partner said that I had grown and changed quite a lot. By this, she explained, she meant that I was calmer in life (not that I was wild before), spoke with more clarity, and could help to guide her and others around me through events in their life, giving them space to open up into and thoughts to take away with them. This is why I signed up, to be able to help more people through more things.
But I didn't expect that the journey would have such an effect on me as a person. Through the course, and especially early in the course, you understand that coaching others absolutely starts with coaching yourself.
This course has made me focus on what is happening in my own life, made me question beliefs I held, values I held and how life impacts me, and how I in turn impact it. I did not expect to have so many personal changes.
But now, at the end of the course, I feel like I am at the beginning of this journey again, still working on myself, but able to discuss more topics at a deep level and listen, really listen, to what people are telling me and help to gently guide them to find answers. I am still working, I will still be going back through the vast depth of knowledge shared within this course, the additional reading material and videos, and quests that are shared.
Life coaching it turns out is for life, not just a 16 weeks course!
Would I recommend this course? Absolutely. If you do it for anyone, do it for yourself!
