"We've already begun to see our results changing"

I work in a very challenging sector - public education - at a time when many fears are surfacing and it is becoming increasingly challenging to help create environments that are conducive to all students being successful. As we continue to do the work needed so this can happen, fear/anger and hate have all surfaced making an already challenging task even more daunting. As a leader, relationships are at the heart of all I do. I believe if I can find ways to support my team, they can go out and shine even in the face of the most difficult challenges. That was the context of me doing this learning. So that I could better support team members to be able to face some fairly challenging and complex situations and still grow, thrive and feel connected to their purpose. We serve over 65000 children daily and 11000 staff members. Each person is unique and come with their own stories and realities. Our team continued to do their best but this course gave me some real tools that allowed me to better support them to find their inner resources, strengths, gifts and to tap into those in a more meaningful way so that they could continue to do better. We've already begun to see our results changing. Ive become more deliberate and intentional with one-on-one coaching time for my executive team to support their leadership. I am seeing them grow and become better and I am learning from them. It's a win-win all around!
