Before this journey I had ideas of what I wanted to do with my life, but no clear direction or means to get there. I had graduated from university with a degree in biology and chemistry, but couldn't get any jobs I truly wanted without a masters. I felt like I was at an impasse, if I don't pursue the direction of my degree what am I doing? In the past I've been a person with many passions and no productive output, but now I feel I have the tools to take steps in the direction of progress. This program has given me the confidence and the information to go forth and pave the path I desire even if I am the first to walk it.
