I stopped being a fixer!
I have a Master's Degree in Counseling and I worked over 30 years believing I had to fix people or I had failed them. I worked with college students mostly and other adults, helping them make meaningful career decisions and find their purpose in life. After taking this course I realized that I was giving them too much advice rather than asking more open-ended questions to allow them to make their own decisions.
This has been a game changer for me as well as taking the responsibility for their lives off of me.
