My whole approach to life has completely changed.
How I interact, how I respond, and how I show up in this World, thanks to this course, as well as completing the other incredible quests Mindvalley has to offer.
Despite, like us all, I have most certainly been presented with various challenges whilst completing this course, I have equally been presented with many incredible opportunities and blessings.
With that in mind, I've realized that what we focus on expands and I get the choice to focus on the positives. Our words are so powerful, not only to ourselves (internally and externally) but to others. What we say, can have a profound impact on another, positively or negatively.
Therefore, I am very conscious of my words and intentionally choose to spread empowering, uplifting messages, as a result of this, incredible opportunities keep entering my life that I feel very thankful and blessed for. Gratitude is also key! On reflection, old I would have run a mile, overthought, and tried to self-sabotaged, whether I was conscious or unconscious of this behavior.
This is why learning and implementing the art of being present has heavily helped and allowed me to trust and believe that EVERYTHING that shows up for me, is for me and I choose to fully embrace every opportunity, regardless of the outcome (say YES!).
From a personal perspective, I choose to believe that by being present, being authentic, and just simply allowing; what is for me will come effortlessly and what is not will slowly dissolve.
Similarly, being present in a coaching session, as well as daily interactions with others, not only allows the person in front of me to feel seen valued, and heard but I am also able to fully appreciate and comprehend all that is being presented to me, without any distractions. This is why congruency is so essential, when we truly align to what we live by and believe in, we will naturally attract true, authentic people, places, and situations.
Another big learning lesson for me, and the other reason why I love the role of being a coach so much is that previously I always wanted to help and advise others on what they could do to change their current circumstance, but who am I to know what is right for that person?! I haven't lived their life and they haven’t experienced mine. So the art of acceptance and allowing my client to form their own ideas and conclusions through powerful question techniques was definitely an eye-opener for me. We ALL have the answers within.
